JHI Associates Inc. has a 17.5% working interest in the Canje Block, operated by ExxonMobil
The Canje Block is in the heart of the prolific Guyana-Suriname Oil Basin with billions of barrels in the prospect inventory
And is adjacent to >11 Billion barrels discovered by ExxonMobil in Guyana’s Stabroek Block and Total in Suriname’s Block 58
The Canje Petroleum Agreement has excellent fiscal terms with >40% Contractor take on production
What We’ve Done
JHI partnered with Mid-Atlantic Oil & Gas, Inc. (“MOGI”) in 2013 to provide technical support and financial capability to secure and evaluate the Canje petroleum license awarded in March 2015
Together, we fulfilled all requirements of the Initial Period of the Canje Petroleum License and de-risked the opportunity to attract a world-class Operator in ExxonMobil (2016) and Total (2018) to join the block
2021 Drilling Campaign
Drilled three wells targeting nearly 2 billion barrels of gross, mean recoverable oil all of which confirmed the presence of an active hydrocarbon system, but no commercial volumes
